Why is legal Prostitution in Nevada unpopular and a flaw in legal prostitution?

Sherry asked:
Most of the *********** in Nevada are illegal street hookers and call girls even though there is legal prostitution there? And why is it that this legal prostitution is not a big tourist attraction for Nevada? It seems strange that people are using call girls when they can fly to Nevada instead. Is there a flaw in legal prostitution?
And why are people excited about legal prostitution in Amsterdam but not Nevada?

Yes…legal prostitution requires *********** to get registered and have regular medical exams…When you are hooked on methamphetamine, you would rather just go to the corner and sell your body for $15…

Prostitution in Nevada is legal on a county by county basis, and some of the largest counties (e.g., Clark, where Las Vegas is located) do not have legalized prostitution. You have to go to the outlying rural areas for legal prostitution, and street prostitution is still illegal.
Who’s to say whether legal prostitution is a big draw for Nevada tourism or not? It’s not something that most people would admit on a survey, after all, so it’s very hard to measure.
As to why people in other states use call girls rather than traveling to Nevada, it seems to me it’s obviously a matter of convenience. Flying to/from Nevada then driving to a rural a area with a brothel takes a lot longer and would probably cost a lot more.

cuz *********** are usually drug addicts paying for their fixes clean women usually dont *** that route so wouldnt be many in legalized prostitution cuz not many clean healthy women WANT to be doing that stuff or else they just be pornstars cuz there is more money to be made

There are not as many legal brothels in Nevada as you may think, and all of them are a long way from Las Vegas. It is also much more expensive on average to pay for the services of legal ********** than that of an illegal one. Buying a plane ticket then paying for a hooker in a brothel is a huge sum of money many people do not have or do not wish to pay.
The flaws with legal prostitution are there is not enough of it, it is expensive, it is limited in respect to where it happens.

Why are most *********** street walkers and call girls?
Because they are unregulated, do what they want when they want. Brothel prostitution is a regulated environment.

Traveling to Nevada for a sexual encounter with a ********** is a very long way to go for a **********. Most men wouldn’t go that far for a girlfriend much less a hired woman.
It seems strange that people are using call girls when they can fly to Nevada instead.
Not at all, a call girl you call when you need her she comes to your house/hotel etc and it is over when you are. Traveling to Nevada would imply at the very least a two day trip and considerably greater expense. The end result would be the exact same thing. Plus it is unlikely that you will be caught if you are an occasional user of the service.

If you want to hire a hooker, you have two options.
You can fly to Nevada and get a safe, lucid, disease-free, and legal prostitute, for 50- 100$ (I’m guessing.)
Or, you can walk three blocks downtown, find a girl sleeping behind a dumpster, and tell her you’ll give her ten dollars to have *** with you. Sure, you’re more likely to get a disease, but most people have a mentality that says ‘that can’t happen to me.’
Avoiding AIDS is as easy as wearing a condom, yet thousands of people die from it every year. It’s the ‘that only happens to other people’ mentality.
